‘The Host’s’ Diane Kruger in winter essentials
German actress Diane Kruger could be the most consistently chic actress in Hollywood. The former model knows what works for her body and arguably takes more risks than anyone on the red carpet -- and she rarely misses.
A true fashion chameleon, Kruger attends festival after festival wearing fashion royalty. Some of her most memorable looks include Valentino couture at the Toronto Film Festival, a gray chiffon Prabal Gurung dress at the Museum of Modern Art’s Film Benefit and a metallic Vivienne Westwood gown in Cannes.
At a recent appearance in Paris, Kruger opted for a metallic brocade dress and tiger leather belt, both by Lanvin, and a pair of over-the-knee boots. It was far from traditional and offered a fresh approach to cold weather dressing.
For a similar look, try the Kensie metallic brocade dress from Dillard’s for $118, the black tiger face belt from DorothyPerkins.com for $9, the over-the-knee boot from Victoria’s Secret with lace-up back for $69 or the Charles by Charles David Raphael boot from 6pm.com for $144.99.
We’re eagerly awaiting what Kruger will wear when she begins promoting her new film “The Host,” slated to open March 29.
