Decades’ Cameron Silver puts on his party style
When Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos opened their vintage salon Decades on Melrose Avenue in 1997, they changed the very fabric of fashion in Los Angeles. Silver has since become a style icon in the city and beyond. He is slated to appear with Garkinos in the new Bravo show “Decades” (working title), giving viewers an inside look into the vintage buying for the store.
Always one to show up extravagantly clad in countless patterned jackets and slacks, Silver is a fixture at Los Angeles style events. He recently made an appearance at a party thrown by Theodora & Callum (founded by Desiree Gruber, executive producer of “Project Runway,” and Stefani Greenfield, founder of SCOOP) at Mr. C in Beverly Hills. He browsed the upcoming fall collection of accessories in a signature Madras patchwork sport coat, hot pink polo shirt, green cargo pants, penny loafers and a straw fedora.
