Grammys 2014: Swift, Perry and others rocking ponytails and topknots
Rock star hair is the usual order of the evening during the annual Grammys, but this year several singers have gone with decidedly more girly dos.
Taylor Swift is channeling an innocent Olivia Newton John in “Grease” with her soft and perky ponytail. It’s a less sophisticated style than the glamorous, tucked-under and pin-curled hairdo she wore at the Golden Globes, but it adds a romantic quality to her striking silver, chain- mail-like Gucci gown.
Also pulling hair up and away from their faces are Katy Perry and Colbie Caillat, who are both sporting slick, severe topknots.
Caillat’s up-do is French braided up the back and twisted into a cool, spiky coil.
Perry’s is more traditional and perfectly complements her poufy pink Valentino gown.
