Essentials: The classic army jacket
Once a go-to piece for military brats, the classic army jacket has become a stylish wardrobe staple for wear far beyond the base. The faded green outerwear was reworked on the runways at Dries Van Noten and Junya Watanabe back in fall of 2010 and the fresh new looks have gained in popularity for mainstream consumption. The utilitarian style, sometimes awash in camouflage, has gone glam with playful studs, feminine shapes and mixed materials.
