Paul McCartney, Kanye West attend Stella McCartney’s Paris show
Sir Paul McCartney attended daughter Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion week show Monday. And so did model-actress Cara Delevingne, actor Woody Harrelson and rapper Kanye West, who recently admitted that he is not a designer even though he has been dabbling in fashion design. Among other things, McCartney showed what she called “fur-free fur” coats. [The Guardian]

Los Angeles Times fashion critic Booth Moore, who is at the Paris shows, called for less nudity and fewer gimmicks on the runways. “While there may have been a place for nudity and body constriction on the runways at one time, it’s the 21st century, people. We’ve been there, done that. How about showing us clothes with dignity and integrity, and while you’re at it, a new idea or two?” she asked. And in a column after Sunday’s shows she applauds Phoebe Philo at Celine for doing just that. [Los Angeles Times]
