PARIS -- Isabel Marant, the Parisian designer with the magic, casual, cool touch, showed her spring collection Friday afternoon on the Left Bank.

The look: A Cal-French romance with leather and lace, ruffles and frayed denim, and several must-have shoes, including sweet, bow-topped Birkenstock-like sandals, and moccasin sandal booties.

Key pieces: Black menswear blazer over romantic, white ruffled mini skirt. Sweet peasant blouse over pleat-front, tapered black leather pants. Petrol blue pants with fold over waistband worn with baby doll top. Petal pink denim jacket, shorts and jeans in fraying cross-hatch pattern. Cotton voile ribbon sundresses. Cage sequin jacket and cuffed shorts.

The verdict: Ka-ching! After last season’s minimalist detour, Marant is back on the boho track. And you can already hear her fans swooning all over the world.
