Video: ‘The Walking Dead’s’ Melissa McBride on ‘Caryl’ -- the chemistry between Carol and Daryl
Will they or won’t they? “There’s no denying there’s chemistry,” says “Walking Dead” star Melissa McBride of Daryl and Carol.
Fans of “The Walking Dead” have seen it. Hundreds of blogs have been written about it.
What exactly is going on with Carol Peletier and Daryl Dixon, two of the band of survivors on AMC’s hit drama about the zombie apocalypse that seem to have an electric chemistry? Is it a deep friendship? Is it something more?
Melissa McBride, who plays Carol on the show, smiled when asked the question during a recent visit to the Los Angeles Times to discuss the show, her role and her connection to co-star Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl.

“There’s no denying there’s chemistry there,” McBride said. “I love Norman. But I can’t say because the writers haven’t given it to us. They are peers, I can say that.”
She added that there’s a “sweetness” between the two, and they have identified with each other during the apocalypse.
“As far as the relationship, it’s just Daryl and Carol,” McBride said, beaming.
