Predictability is back!

Netflix announced Wednesday that “Fuller House” would be returning for a second season, via the show’s official Twitter feed.

The “Full House” sequel series centers around D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) as she navigates widowhood and raises her three boys, with the help of childhood best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and little sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), a functional mirroring of the circumstances that served as a catalyst for the original series, though gender-swapped.

The series has yet to explore what ancient curse keeps killing off Tanner family spouses, but a second season gives the show much more time to (hopefully) explore that element.

Much of the original series cast, including Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin as Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, and Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone, have cameo appearances on the new series, though the cameo that fans agitate for most, the return of Mary-Kate and/or Ashley Olsen as baby sister Michelle Tanner, has yet to materialize.

Details are sparse about the second season of “Fuller House” but the show is “coming soon” to Netflix.
