ABC orders full season of ‘Marvel’s Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D.’
Watch out super-powered bad guys. ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee announced Thursday that ABC has picked up the hit show “Marvel’s Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D.” for a full season.
The show was a hotly anticipated fall offering and it has not disappointed. It opened as television’s highest-rated drama debut in nearly four years, although viewership has dropped off markedly since then. Still, it’s the No. 1 new show of the season among the coveted 18-49 age group demographic. It is also (on average) No. 1 in it’s time slot of Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Now the show, which was co-created by Joss Whedon, will deliver a traditional 22-episode season.
“Marvel’s Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
