Olivia Pope must be a “Smelly Cat” fan.

Lisa Kudrow, who played guitar-strumming free spirit Pheobe Buffay for 10 seasons on “Friends,” will join the ABC drama “Scandal” in a recurring role in season three.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kudrow will play a politician, but further details about her character have not been disclosed. Sadly, it’s probably safe to assume she will not go by the name Regina Phalange.
