Lindsay Lohan to have post-rehab interview, new docu-series on OWN
Oprah Winfrey has scored another high-profile coup for OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network: Lindsay Lohan.
The troubled star, who is currently serving her latest rehab stint, will be interviewed by Winfrey in August after her release. Lohan has also been signed for an eight-part documentary series that will air in 2014.
The deal with Lohan, which is sure to generate large ratings for OWN, is the latest in a series of prominent interview “gets” for Winfrey. The former talk show mogul has scored exclusive interviews with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong and the family of deceased singer Whitney Houston.

Lohan is near the end of a 90-day court-mandated stay at the Betty Ford Center for a reckless-driving conviction. Her once-promising career has been eclipsed by a stream of erratic and outrageous shenanigans off-screen that have made her a favorite of the tabloids.
