With President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney set for their final debate in Boca Raton, Fla., on Monday night and the election on Nov. 6, comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have more than enough fodder for their signature skit.

That’s because the stars of Comedy Central‘s “Key & Peele” portray a very measured Obama (Peele) and Luther, his Anger Translator (Key) — a profane alter ego who leaves no punch pulled.

As Times television critic Mary McNamara wrote last week: “In each Translator skit, Peele’s precisely articulated president calmly discusses the matters of the day while Luther paces behind him, interrupting with the expletive-laden ‘straight-talk.’ (‘All y’all dictators out there? Keep messin’ around and see what happens. Just see what happens. Watch!’) ...

“Luther has had his say about the site of the Republican and Democratic conventions (‘Tampa? In August? Good thing y’all don’t believe in global warming.’), Clint Eastwood‘s speech (‘this … lost both his comb and his mind’), the 47% (‘oh no Mitt, you probably wouldn’t have liked the White House any way, they don’t have no elevators for your cars…’) and even Obama’s miserable performance in the first debate (‘I should have been on that stage, oh my God Mitt, if I was a Siberian tiger, your … would have been Roy. Straight up!’)”

So what will Key and Peele have to say ahead of the third and final presidential debate? Join us for a Google+ Hangout with the two comedians and McNamara at 10 a.m. Monday here in this space.
