Jonathan Ross gets Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock to do ‘Big’ scene
It’s been 25 years since “Big” came out, but Tom Hanks can apparently still play “Chopsticks” on an oversized piano. Or at least, approximate playing the song that he made famous in the 1988 dramedy.
Hanks appeared on the BBC talk show “Jonathan Ross” to promote his new movie, “Captain Phillips,” but Ross was really interested in having the two-time Oscar winner tap out a tune on the large keyboard carpet.
But good sport that he is, Hanks was not alone in his trip down memory lane. Fellow Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock was on the show to promote her own new film, “Gravity,” and joined Hanks on the keyboard.

While it was impressive to see Hanks jump right back into the tune, Bullock’s piano-leaping skills were even more amazing because the actress did it all while still wearing her high-heeled shoes.
“Big” is actually kind of a preoccupation with Jonathan Ross. When Hanks appeared on his show four years ago, Ross had him perform the childhood rap he did in the movie. He also admitted to Hanks that the film makes him cry every time he sees it.
