‘Intelligence’ will premiere earlier
“Intelligence,” the new CBS drama starring “Lost” alum Josh Holloway, will get a special premiere after an episode of ratings powerhouse “NCIS” before moving to its regular Monday night timeslot.
The series will get a special preview at 9 p.m. PT Jan. 7 and will then begin airing on Monday nights at 10 p.m. PT starting Jan. 13. This moves the premiere of the series up by more than a month from its original post-Winter Olympics date of Feb. 24.
Holloway stars as an intelligence agent given a special computer microchip implant in his brain that hooks him directly up to the Internet and beyond. (Think of him as a really good-looking smartphone.)
Marg Helgenberger co-stars as the director of a top secret government agency tasked with providing support for Holloway while he carries out his missions, and Megan Ory plays the agent who must be his handler, doing whatever she can to protect that big, beautiful brain.
The series was created by Michael Seitzman, also known for writing the Charlize Theron drama “North Country.” It’s executive produced by Tripp Vinson and Barry Schindel.
