Watch the Season 2 ‘Fuller House’ trailer and find out when the series returns
Hope you wanted unchecked nostalgia for Christmas because that’s exactly what you’re getting.
Netflix on Tuesday released a trailer for Season 2 of the reboot series “Fuller House,” which focuses on the continuing misadventures of Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), three characters that originated on ABC’s “Full House” in 1987.
The trailer contains everything you might expect from a “Fuller House” trailer: kissing, comic misunderstandings, an absolutely shocking amount of choreographed dance numbers.
But there are plenty of surprises awaiting fans in the second season as well, including an appearance by a group of older gentlemen — purported to be New Kids On The Block, though ravaged by the horrors of aging and the slow march toward death.
Season 2 will also see the return of Girl Talk, the band started by Stephanie, Kimmy and Gia (Marla Sokoloff) in a random episode of the eighth and final season of the original show.
Sadly, it does not appear that the band will serve as the origin for Girl Talk, the mash-up genius responsible for the 2008 album “Feed the Animals.”
Beyond that things look to be par for the course for the rebooted sitcom that audiences love to hate and hate to love. And some love to love, because the world is a wide and varying place.
Season 2 of “Fuller House” returns to Netflix on Dec. 9.
