Donald Glover is the breakout star of NBC’s “Community,” and as the show returns for its fifth season, he’ll appear in fewer episodes in order to accomodate his burgeoning career, which includes a new album and a new comedy series on FX titled “Atlanta.”

But it looks like all that pressure may be getting to him, as Glover revealed in a series of written Instagram messages he posted Monday night (language warning).

“I’m afraid of the future,” Glover wrote in the first of seven messages, all of which were on Residence Inn stationary.

He then launched into a series of things he was afraid of, including “I’m scared my girl will get pregnant at not the exact time we want” and “I’m scared I’ll never reach my potential.”

Glover’s career began in comedy writing, where he was a writer for “30 Rock” before joining the cast of “Community.” He has since released albums under his rapper identity, Childish Gambino. His latest, “Because the Internet,” will be released in December.

“I feel like I’m letting everyone down,” he wrote. “I’m afraid people hate who I really am.”

Glover addressed his reduced role in the series, writing, “I’m scared Dan Harmon hates me” and “I didn’t leave Community to rap. I don’t wanna rap. I wanted to be on my own.”

“I’m scared I’ll be Tyrese,” he wrote, referring to Tyrese Gibson, a rapper, actor, writer, producer, model who has spread himself across all manner of media.

He wrote, “I got really lost last year. But I can’t be lonely tho. Cause we’re all here. We’re all stuck here.”
