Will Christina Aguilera return to ‘The Voice’ with big pay bump?
Shakira, get ready to shake your hips and move aside -- Christina Aguilera might be headed back to “The Voice” very soon.
The pop diva, who appeared on the first three seasons of NBC’s singing hit, has just signed to return for Season 5 this fall, according to a new report.
The Wrap reports that the “Beautiful” singer willl bring home a $17-million paycheck. That would be a considerable bump, considering that Aguilera was previously reported to be in the $10-million range.

But “The Voice” is NBC’s sole big hit, and the struggling network is building its schedule around it next year in both the fall and the winter. Executives officially presented their lineup to advertisers in New York on Monday.
Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green had been replaced for this season with Shakira and Usher; Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remained on the panel. NBC has said the original judges would return but has not specified when. However, Cee-Lo told the “Today” show late last year that he would be back for Season 5.
Contacted by The Times, an NBC spokeswoman could not immediately confirm the report.
