“The Bachelor” is going gay. Sort of.

Logo — Viacom’s LGBT-oriented cable network — announced Tuesday the production of a new reality dating competition titled “Finding Prince Charming.” The show, touted as the first of its kind, will feature a cast of all gay men looking to capture the heart of an eligible bachelor.

“Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture,” Pamela Post, the network’s head of original programming, said in a statement. “ ‘Finding Prince Charming’ will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.”

Hosted by openly gay and notable singer Lance Bass — of NSYNC fame — it will feature 13 “charming and gorgeous suitors” competing for the attention of one guy. Much like “The Bachelor” franchise, a different person will be eliminated each week with the last man standing committing to an exclusive relationship. The jury is still out on whether the ones that survive each week will be given roses.

As for who will be the object of desire, TMZ reports that the lucky man is Robert Sepulveda Jr., a Puerto Rican interior designer living in Atlanta. A 2004 summa cum laude graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, the 33-year-old owns his own design firm, RSJdesign and is also a signed model with Model Mayhem.

“Finding Prince Charming” is taping now in the Los Angeles area. It will premiere on Logo in the fall.
