Radiohead’s new album set for Sunday release
Radiohead’s new album will be out in two days.
Just a few days after releasing its new single, “Burn the Witch,” the British rock band took to Twitter to announce that its new album -- whose title has yet to be made public -- will arrive Sunday (at 11 a.m. for us West Coasters).
The new album, the band’s first since 2011’s “The King of Limbs,” will be issued digitally via XL Recordings. Physical editions of the album are due to arrive June 17.
Radiohead’s album announcement was accompanied by the release of another new single, this one called “Daydreaming,” along with a video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
In March, Radiohead announced a brief run of summer headlining concerts, including two nights at the Shrine in Los Angeles in August. The shows will be the first in Southern California since their headlining slots at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2012.
