Katy Perry is roaring back to business.

After lying relatively low after the heavily hyped release last fall of her album “Prism,” the singer announced Wednesday that she’ll hit the road in North America this summer.

The so-called Prismatic world tour, slated to play the U.K. in May, is to begin a Stateside run on June 22 in Raleigh, N.C. Forty-six concerts are scheduled, including stops Sept. 16 at Anaheim’s Honda Center and Sept. 19 at Staples Center.

Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara will take turns as Perry’s opening act, with Tegan and Sara set to appear at the Southland shows.

In October, that Canadian sister duo, along with Musgraves, joined Perry for a benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl, part of an elaborate promotional campaign that also included an album-release event at Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank and appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.”

In a statement about the tour, Perry said “this colorful show” will combine “all the songs you know” with tracks from “Prism,” which has spawned the singles “Roar,” “Unconditionally” and “Dark Horse” and which last week passed the million-sold mark, according to Billboard. “Prism” is the Santa Barbara-bred singer’s third studio disc, with songs that she said were inspired by her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand.
