It’s no secret that Kanye West has a love/hate (strong emphasis on “hate”) relationship with the press.

The outspoken rapper has turned his battle with paparazzi into a sport, rarely speaks to the media and turned his back on the traditional promo circuit when it came to his recently released -- and rather polarizing -- album, “Yeezus.”

So what does a now press-shy superstar do when you have a baby with a media personality whose family has made a living off of being in front of the cameras? Apparently, grin and bear it when your future mother-in-law comes calling for her daytime talker, “Kris.”

West agreed to sit down with Kris Jenner to cap off the trial run of her talk show, which airs weekdays on select Fox stations, including Fox 11 in Los Angeles at 3 p.m.

The hour-long interview, which was taped Monday, according to Entertainment Weekly, will cover West’s high-profile relationship with Jenner’s daughter Kim Kardashian and, of course, their 2-month-old baby girl, North.

West’s love for the Kardashian/Jenner clan runs even deeper than ratings can cash in on, as the rapper likely had a hand in recruiting a surprise performance from Drake and Big Sean for the sweet 16 birthday bash of Kardashian’s little sister, Kylie Jenner, on Saturday.

Kris Jenner’s six-week trial summer run wraps Friday with her sit-down with West.
