Cher to launch Dressed to Kill Tour in 2014
We know she believes in life after love. Now Cher is showing there’s hello after goodbye.
The veteran entertainer on Monday announced that she’ll tour North America next year, nearly a decade after the conclusion of her so-called Farewell Tour.
The Dressed to Kill Tour, as the new jaunt is known, is to launch March 22 in Phoenix and run through a July 11 stop in San Diego. Three Southland dates are scheduled: July 5 at Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena, July 7 at Staples Center and July 9 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
The announcement comes just before Cher is to release a new studio album, “Closer to the Truth,” on Tuesday. It’s her first since “Living Proof” in 2001 and contains collaborations with Pink and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters.
