Paul Walker film ‘Brick Mansions’ set for April release
One of Paul Walker’s final films, the action movie “Brick Mansions,” now has a release date. The film will open April 25, Relativity Media announced Thursday.
A remake of the 2004 French film “District B13,” “Brick Mansions” stars Walker as an undercover cop on a mission to stop a gang with access to a weapon of mass destruction in a tenement in dystopian Detroit.
Parkour pioneer and “District B13” cast member David Belle and actor-musician Rza also star in the film, which was written by Luc Besson and Bibi Naceri and directed by Camille Delamarre.

“Brick Mansions” marks one of the last films Walker worked on before his death on Nov. 30, 2013, in a single-vehicle car crash. He is also expected to feature prominently in next year’s “Fast & Furious 7,” which he was about halfway through filming at the time of his death.
Relativity and producing partner EuropaCorp also announced they will make a donation to Walker’s charity, Reach Out WorldWide, to honor his memory.
