Disney developing another Cruella de Vil movie
Having already made two recent live-action movies with Cruella de Vil at its center — 1996’s “101 Dalmatians” and the 2000 sequel, “102 Dalmatians” — Disney is planning a third film about the villainess to be written by “The Devil Wears Prada’s” Aline Brosh McKenna, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Disney has hired McKenna to write “Cruella,” and Glenn Close, who played De Vil in the two “Dalmatians” movies, will serve as an executive producer, the newspaper reported.

The studio made the animated feature “101 Dalmatians” in 1961.
Next year, the studio is scheduled to release another live-action spinoff from an animated classic adaptation: “Maleficent,” which stars Angelina Jolie as the villainess from 1959’s “Sleeping Beauty.”
In 2015, the studio will release a live-action “Cinderella” starring Lily James in the title role; an animated movie of the same name came out in 1950.
