Anna Chlumsky of ‘My Girl,’ ‘Veep’ is pregnant with first baby
Anna Chlumsky, who played Vada Sultenfuss in 1991’s “My Girl,” is pregnant with her first child.
She and husband Shaun So confirmed the baby news to People on Wednesday and said they expect the tiny tot this summer.
“I’m feeling pretty good so far,” Chlumsky, 32, told the mag. “I was really lucky -- I did not have any morning sickness, which was great because I was working.”
The actress will reprise her role as the vice president’s chief of staff in the HBO comedy “Veep” with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, which kicks off its second season April 14. Now that she’s done filming, she said she is focusing time on getting the nursery ready and reading baby books.
Chlumsky and So tied the knot in 2008 and they have learned the baby’s gender, but they plan to keep it a secret.
