Justin Bieber loses it over paparazzo, lets the F-bomb fly
Justin Bieber lost his temper Friday morning in London — and he was caught on tape losing his cool.
Bieber apparently made contact with a paparazzo as he barreled out of his hotel, leading the man to shout, “That’s assault” and let fly with a couple of profane statements, one urging the singer to, ahem, go back to America and the other calling him a “little moron.”
The 19-year-old had gotten into his car by that point, but apparently heard the insults and came flying out, dropping F-bombs of his own and threatening to beat up the photographer.
Strapping bodyguard types in Bieber’s entourage contained the upset singer and wrangled him back into the vehicle before anything came to blows. But the insults were still in the air.
The Biebs spoke out after the dust-up over a series of tweets.
“Ahhhhh! Rough morning. Trying to feel better for this show tonight but let the paps get the best of me...’” he wrote. “Sometimes when people r shoving cameras in your face all day and yelling the worst thing possible at u...well I’m human. Rough week. Not gonna let them get the best of me again. Gonna get focused on this show tonight. Adrenaline is high now. Gonna put it on the stage. Only way someone can break u is if u let them.”
Bieber’s fourth and final show in London goes down on Friday night, and then it’s good riddance to a rocky patch on the “Believe” tour. (Thursday night he collapsed offstage with breathing problems but returned to finish his show, and earlier in the week he’d railed against the media and experienced a really lousy birthday, to name but a few of the glitches.)
[For the record, 3:30 p.m. March 8: This post previously included incorrect concert dates. Bieber is due next in Lisbon, Portugal, on Monday. His tour does not return to the U.S. until June.]
