Report: Matt Damon says ‘save the date’ for destination wedding
Matt Damon is reportedly getting married again — to his wife and mother of his children, Luciana Barroso.
Seems their discreet city hall ceremony back in December 2005, while official, wasn’t the stuff of their dreams. Now, more than seven years and three daughters later, they’re planning a destination wedding to be held in April, according to the New York Post.
“They had a really low-key wedding in Manhattan,” a source told the Post’s Page Six, “so now they want to do something bigger.” Low-key indeed: The only folks present the first time around were family members, including Alexia, Luciana’s daughter from a previous marriage, and, oddly, New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. Not even buddy Ben Affleck made the cut.
While Damon became stepdad to Alexia, the couple’s first child together, Isabella, was born seven months later. The family now boasts four girls total. They had been dating for two years before tying the knot and didn’t get the benefit of an official honeymoon, as Damon had to return to work on “The Good Shepherd.”
Apparently, “save the date” cards have gone out bearing no additional details beyond that chosen day in April, though buzz has it no kids will be allowed.
Enough of those at home?
