Jane Monheit Since being named runner-up in the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition at just 20 years old in 1998, Monheit has been a favorite on the jazz vocal scene on par with Diana Krall. Armed with her 2010 album, “Home,” which marked a return to more traditional jazz vocal arrangements, Monheit returns to L.A. for a festive run of shows that includes a New Year’s Eve performance. Kreayshawn The former UC Berkeley film student has directed videos for Lil B and Soulja Boy, but she’s since found her true calling on the other side of the camera.
