Those of you who have wondered if the Rock can carry a tune now have your answer. Disney has released a new clip for its upcoming “Moana,” and it’s the first to feature Dwayne Johnson singing.

In the animated film Johnson voices the demigod Maui, who joins Moana on her journey to a fabled island to save her people. His confidence is displayed in full force in the clip as he sings to Moana about his various mythical accomplishments, which lead to his status as “hero of man.”

Fittingly titled “You’re Welcome,” the song is a new original tune by “Hamilton” mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda. Among the feats by Maui humanity should be thankful for? Stealing fire for warmth, lassoing the sun to stretch out days, harnessing the breeze to fill sails and pulling up islands from the sea.

That Johnson would actually be singing in “Moana” was confirmed during the film’s San Diego Comic-Con panel in July by directors Ron Clements and John Musker. They shared that the song would be one specifically written for Johnson by Miranda.

Starring Auli’i Cravalho as the heroine, “Moana” will also feature the voices of Alan Tudyk, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger, Jemaine Clement and Rachel House in addition to Johnson.
