A ‘Bee and PuppyCat’ cookbook is on the way; fingers crossed for fish cake
“Why can’t I ever dream about food?” Bee wonders in an episode of “Bee and PuppyCat.” But her worries may be over. “Easy Eats: A Bee and PuppyCat Cookbook” is on the way this summer.
Created by Natasha Allegri, “Bee and PuppyCat” centers on the adventures of the titular Bee, a young woman whose life changes when she encounters a mysterious creature that falls from the sky while she is walking home in the rain one day. That mysterious creature is PuppyCat.

PuppyCat, as his name suggests, is apparently a dog-cat hybrid creature from space. Also he “talks” (via Vocaloid) and is adorable. With Bee having a complicated (non)relationship with employment, PuppyCat introduces her to the world of interdimensional temp jobs.
The cookbook will feature both new and fan-favorite illustrations from Allegri, as well as recipes from the “Bee and PuppyCat” staff. Here’s to hoping there is a recipe for fish cake.
“Easy Eats: A Bee and PuppyCat Cookbook” will be published by Viz Media’s Perfect Square imprint.
“Bee and PuppyCat,” produced by Frederator Studios, can be viewed on the Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel. If the episodes available aren’t enough, you can also check out the “Bee and PuppyCat” comic book series from Boom! Studios.
