Peek inside Ben Affleck’s brand new Batmobile from ‘Batman v Superman’
Take a detailed look inside Ben Affleck’s brand new Batmobile, and behold his mess of a Bat-dashboard.
Warner Bros. Consumer Products put the Batmobile from “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on display today at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. And we’ve got a great look at the innards of Batman’s fancy new wheels.
The whole thing is pretty impressive, even though not a single part of this elaborate contraption looks drivable. There’s an “Active Defense System” panel, a “launch indicator,” two separate engines and a ton of knobs that would most likely infuriate Gotham’s Dark Knight if you fiddled around in his fancy car for too long.
Also with the new Batmobile images comes a new synopsis for Zack Snyder’s up-and-coming Warner Bros. movie featuring Superman (Henry Cavill) and the aforementioned Bat:
“Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
This “new threat” is still pretty vague, but perhaps refers to new villain addition Lex Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg). “Batman v. Superman” will hit theaters on March 25 next year.
