Toni Braxton’s wardrobe malfunction draws cheers, laughs from fans
Toni Braxton’s wardrobe malfunction surely had some fans over the moon.
The 45-year-old songstress inadvertently exposed her backside to an entire arena of concert-goers while she was performing last week in New Brunswick, N.J.
As she was dancing, the singer turned around to fix her slinky, sparkly blue dress without realizing that she had mooned the entire crowd, according to the NSFW video footage obtained by TMZ, which is also readily available on YouTube. Braxton held up the back of the wayward dress as she kept on working the stage and even brought up some male fans from the crowd to jam along to her hit song “You’re Makin’ Me High.”

“I was dancing doing the one-two and I kind of thought, ‘Are my [breasts] exposed? I am feeling air,’” the “Un-Break My Heart” singer told Yahoo’s omg blog.
“I remember that distinctly so that’s why I held the top of the dress, but then I realized the whole dress was coming apart,” she said. “The whole dress just fell apart on stage!”
The singer was eventually offered a man’s blazer to cover up the snafu. Then, jump-cutting to later footage, Braxton slowed it down for another song. That’s when two assistants emerged onstage to secure the glittery jumper. The audience erupted in laughter and Braxton couldn’t help but address them.
“Try not to look, guys,” she laughed then smiled and even offered a coy peep show to her fans after the assistants finally removed the rogue dress.
“I had a bodysuit on but it was very skimpy,” she said. “Little tricks of the trade. I was uncomfortable. I can’t deny I was uncomfortable, but I made it work and the audience kind of laughed and it turned into a burlesque show. I should have charged more for the tickets. Who knew?”
Uncomfortable? She should be thrilled by how good she still looks at 45.
Then she kept on singing while just wearing the blazer donated to her cause.
“You know, you have to make every moment work. You make it a part of the show and I just thought how lucky I was that the whole thing didn’t come apart! We laughed about it and we made it work, but that’s all you can do. Breathe through it all.”
It’s true: The show must go on.
