Simon Cowell shares photos of new baby son Eric

Simon Cowell was sharing the love over the weekend on Twitter, posting pics of Eric, his new son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

“I never knew how much love and pride I would feel,” read “The X Factor” judge’s caption on the photo showcased above, in which Eric rests on his daddy’s chest.

Two other black and white images went up Sunday: One, a straight-on shot of the new baby, is captioned, “…. now you can see how very handsome little Eric is.” The first one to go up, with Cowell cradling his son, shows “Mum, Dad and Eric. Now two days old.”

The new dad continued to bubble on social media, saying, “The last three days have been incredible. Eric Lauren sqiddly and diddly all happy.” Squiddly and Diddly, incidentally, are a couple of darling dogs who “love New York.”

Eric Cowell was born on Valentine’s Day, shortly after Cowell got off a private jet that had flown him in from London, where he was conducting “Britain’s Got Talent” auditions. He’d reportedly had the plane on call for a week. The tot weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

It’s a first child for the former “American Idol” judge, and the second for Silverman, who has an 8-year-old boy with her ex, Andrew Silverman.
