In Pink's world, empowerment keeps its clothes on. In Kim Kardashian's, it shouldn't have to.

After posting yet another nude selfie, then sparring with celebrity critics of the image, Kardashian took the opportunity of International Women's Day on Tuesday to explain/defend her naked self — which the world became acquainted with in the first place through the reality star's notorious, pre-"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" sex tape.

But the sex tape, she noted in a post on her website, happened forever-long ago, and she's had enough of the body shaming and slut shaming.

"I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality," Kardashian wrote. "You be you and let me be me."

Kim Kardashian claps back at nude-selfie detractors, swearing, 'I'm funny too!'

"I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime — and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?," she said. "It always seems to come back around to my sex tape. Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago. And people still want to talk about it?!?!," she continued. "I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn't have to constantly be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago."

Kardashian said she's empowered by her body, by her sexuality, by her husband, by feeling comfortable in her own skin, by showing the world her flaws without being worried about what people are going to say.

A few hours after Kardashian vented, Pink added her own thoughts to the general conversation, noting on Twitter that a woman who didn't use her body or sexuality to get ahead would "never have to make silly excuses" for herself. Pretty amazing coincidence, if that wasn't inspired by Kim's missive.

"Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their 'magic' that they were born with, that only they possess," the singer said. "It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your ... and ..., but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention.' In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave."

Kardashian, who'd had a few snipey things to say to Bette Midler, Chloe Grace Moretz and Piers Morgan after they tweaked her for her most recent naked selfie, had nothing to say to Pink — or even to indicate she'd seen the singer's post.

She was busy, apparently, joining Snapchat.
