Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian are reportedly calling off their divorce

Patrick Dempsey's "Grey's Anatomy" character is long dead, but his marriage is apparently very much alive.
The actor and his estranged wife, Jillian, have decided against getting divorced, a source told People on Thursday.
"They go on dates and are also involved with the kids together," the source told the magazine. "The divorce made Patrick miserable. It was definitely a wake-up call."
Added the source: "There are no more divorce plans. Patrick and Jillian plan on being a family again."
Jillian — who was Jillian Fink before they got married in 1999 — filed for the split almost a year ago. TMZ had a source saying that his love of racing cars was a big point of contention because it kept him away from her and their three kids for extended periods of time. Patrick was supposedly trying to reconcile with Jillian the whole time, even as they supposedly reached an agreement on most details of the breakup.
November, however, brought Paris, and Paris brought hand-holding — as in, photographs of the couple walking in public hand-in-hand. They were also spotting riding bikes and taking photos, and they posted shots from the trip to Instagram.
Last week, they went to the Image Maker Awards together in L.A., and she wished him a very public happy birthday as he turned 50.
Shortly after the People story went live Thursday, Jillian posted a goofy pic of Patrick to her Instagram page.
