Nicole Polizzi says husband didn’t use Ashley Madison, calls cheating allegations ‘absurd’

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s has shot down reports linking her husband, Jionni LaValle, to cheating website Ashley Madison, calling the allegations “absurd.”

The “Jersey Shore” alum took to Instagram to address the rumors, sharing a photo from their November 2014 wedding. (They’ve been linked since 2012 and have two children together.)

LaValle, 35, denied the report as well, but spun his Instagram caption to promote a product, writing, “I may not go on cheating websites but I definitely go on Twisteds website!!”

At first, the reality star turned designer said that she laughed off the story and said, “let’s not even comment and give the story any juice, because it couldn’t be any further from the truth.” But once it became “the news of the day,” she decided to address it head-on.

“Jionni is the the most humble, respectful, and most loyal souls I know. I mean hello, that’s why I married him,” the 27-year-old wrote. “He’s a stand up guy who loves his family more than anything in this world. The fact that the tabloids can deliberately make stories up and print things like ‘Jionni LaValle ALLEGEDLY and MAY HAVE signed up on Ashley Madison’ is absurd. I can see if there is proof in the story to make it legitimate, but to accuse my husband of something he had no idea about... HOW IS THAT LEGAL?

“I really didn’t even want to acknowledge this absurd story, but when my family is being bashed for no reason- mama bear is gonna say what’s up.”

Following the leak of data hacked last month from the affair-facilitating website, several reality stars and other prominent figures were outed as subscribers, including embattled “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar. Before Polizzi commented via Instagram, she’d taken to her podcast, “Naturally Nicole,” and bashed Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, for staying with him after he admitted to cheating on her via the website.

By Monday, however, Us Weekly reported that an email address using LaValle’s name matched one used on the site. Polizzi flat-out denied her husband’s use of the site in her Tuesday post.

“So no, my husband didn’t sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat- he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website and pay for it,” she said. “Jionni is a good guy and doesn’t need his name being tarnished. Nor does our family. We did nothing wrong to deserve this. So with all of this said, I love you babe. And even though I’m a pain in your ass, I know you would never cheat on me. Especially on a lame ass website. #myfamilyrocks”

Once she got that our of her systerm, it was back to business as usual on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, promoting her business and posting about her son Lorenzo’s third birthday.

The MTV star also tweeted an Us Weekly story about the birthday with the comment “LOL what scandal ? The one you guys made up? We are laughing. Stop trying to ruin our family.”
