Michael Lohan: DNA test confirms 17-year-old is his daughter
Michael Lohan has a “new” daughter — but she’s not so very new, despite a big DNA-test reveal on Thursday’s episode of “The Trisha Goddard Show.”
Any way you slice it, we suppose, the result is yet another Lohan child whose conversations Michael could record and make public, should the mood strike him. Heck, 17-year-old Ashley Horn’s presence has already served to get him back in front of TV cameras with “Trisha.”
Mother Kristi Horn, a.k.a. Kristi Kaufmann, said she had a fling with Michael Lohan in 1995, when he was still married to but separated from Dina Lohan. According to the New York Post, she didn’t tell Michael about Ashley until 2005, after a paternity test she’d had done with her ex-husband didn’t match up.
Lohan admitted getting swabbed for a DNA test in mid-2008.
Lohan’s been listed as the father on Ashley Horn’s birth certificate since December 2008, when a judge ordered it could be added after Lohan failed to show for a Montana court hearing on the matter of paternity. Until the televised DNA test, Lohan had denied Ashley was his and had refused to pay any child support, according to E! News.
Upon hearing news of a DNA test while sitting down with Ashley and her mom, Lohan moved toward his newly confirmed third daughter for an awkward first-time hug, as she said, “No, no, no.”
“This is the first time I’ve met you,” she told him. “I’m sorry, but I’m not sure…”
We totally understand.
If you had an inkling that Michael Lohan was your dad, would you want a DNA test to find out for sure?
