Malin Akerman, Roberto Zincone split 7 months after son’s birth

Malin Akerman has reportedly split from husband Roberto Zincone just months after giving birth to their baby boy.

The “Trophy Wife” actress, 35, and drummer for the Pedalstones will be ending their six-year-marriage, news that Us Weekly first reported and People later confirmed.

Akerman and Zincone met about 10 years ago and wed in Italy in 2007; she gave birth to their 7-month-old son, Sebastian, in April.

“It’s as amicable as can be, and they want to do what’s best for their son,” a source told Us Weekly.

But neither party plans to file for divorce yet.

“Honestly, Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It’s a very sad time for her,” a source told the mag.

Soon after news broke, the Swedish Canadian actress was spotted in L.A. on Monday pumping gas and wearing no makeup and no wedding ring, E! News said.

As recently as October, the actress had been singing her husband’s praises and said that she found his Italian accent “sexy” despite having a language barrier.

“The language of love, that was it,” she said in an appearance on “Live! With Kelly and Michael.” “We used to sit with a dictionary, literally with a dictionary, and try to understand one another because he didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Italian. But we understood ‘the look.’”
