Is Malin Akerman dating Colin Egglesfield? New reports say yes

The latest in pretty meets pretty: Malin Akerman is dating actor Colin Egglesfield, according to reports out Friday.

The “Trophy Wife” star, 35, is reportedly off the market again now that she’s been linked to the “Rizzoli & Isles” actor after they were photographed together in Beverly Hills earlier this month. Us Weekly and People vouched for the romance via sources.

“They’re getting to know each other,” an Akerman “insider” told People, adding that they’re “taking it slow.”

Another source reverberated that to Us Weekly, with “a pal” saying Akerman thinks the “Something Borrowed” alum is “almost too hot for her.”

Well, there goes every ounce of our self-esteem.

On April 1, the comely couple was spotted having dinner at Sugarfish Sushi, then, on April 12, they attended the 2014 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in Long Beach together, Us reported. (And at one point in between, news broke that the “All My Children” actor had been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of criminal damage and disorderly conduct after allegedly going a bit bonkers at the Tempe Festival of the Arts.)

Akerman wasn’t single for long: The Swedish-Canadian actress and drummer Roberto Zincone ended their six-year marriage in November, just seven months after their son Sebastian’s birth. Zincone is said to have filed divorce papers shortly after news of their split broke.

However, when E! News asked her about the Egglesfield photos earlier this month, the actress didn’t reveal very much in the romance department.

“He’s a friend of mine,” she told Marc Malkin at the the launch of Zooey Deschanel’s capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger. “Yeah, I have friends who are guys! He’s so sweet [and] lovely.”

Have things changed since then? We’ll have to wait and see...
