Madonna murders Drake’s face with a sloppy kiss at Coachella
Drake found himself all up in Madonna’s grills Sunday night at Coachella, as the “Living for Love” singer planted a surprise kiss on him during the music festival’s closing set.
The 56-year-old sang bits of “Human Nature” and “Hung Up,” Pop & Hiss reported, before seriously lip-locking with the 28-year-old, who was sitting in a chair with the pop icon dancing around him when she proceeded to murder his face.
“What the ... just happened?,” the rapper told the audience as the moment passed into the pop culture history books as another facet of Madonna’s recent campaign against her own age and society’s reaction to it.
Then, in case anyone had missed the generation-skipping face-suck, Madonna posted some evidence on social media. “Pics or it didn’t happen,” amirite?
“If you don’t like me and still watch everything I do. ... You’re a fan,” she noted.
Hmmm. Let us think on that one for a while before we agree or disagree.
Madonna brought up ageism against women in a recent Rolling Stone interview, saying, “No one would dare to say a degrading remark about being black or dare to say a degrading remark on Instagram about someone being gay. But my age -- anybody and everybody would say something degrading to me.
“And I always think to myself, why is that accepted? What’s the difference between that and racism, or any discrimination?,” she continued. “They’re judging me by my age. I don’t understand. I’m trying to get my head around it. Because women, generally, when they reach a certain age, have accepted that they’re not allowed to behave a certain way. But I don’t follow the rules. I never did, and I’m not going to start.”
And while Drake might have looked a bit horrified after Madge attacked, sources told TMZ the reaction wasn’t about her -- it was about the taste of her lipstick, which apparently migrated from her face to his during the interaction.
In the meantime Monday, while lots of people were talking about him, the “Worst Behavior” rapper announced his 2015 Jungle Tour with Future. It kicks off near the end of May in Houston.
