‘Once Upon a Time’s’ Lana Parrilla engaged to Fred Di Blasio

Lana Parrilla is getting her own fairy-tale love story: The actress is now engaged to beau Fred Di Blasio.

The “Once Upon a Time” star, who plays Evil Queen / Mayor Regina Mills on the ABC fantasy series, was traveling in Israel last week with actors from ABC’s “Scandal” when Di Blasio, a software executive, popped the question in the Negev Desert on April 28, her rep confirmed to the Ministry.

The couple prefers to keep details of the proposal private but are said to be thrilled about the engagement.

Parrilla, 35, said she felt “so celebrated” by fans who congratulated her on the engagement that she was thinking about returning to the country for an annual celebration, according to The Times of Israel. They are said to have been traveling with L.A. organization America’s Voices in Israel.

No wedding date has been set yet, her rep said.

On the trip, they also visited an alpaca farm, the rock-cut city of Petra in Jordan, Tel Aviv, Old Jaffa, the Sea of Galilee, and an IDF air base.

Here’s hoping this relationship has a happily ever after, unlike the fate of Regina’s relationship with Daniel her beloved stable boy.
