Kristen Stewart’s new style rules: what she will and won’t wear
It’s no secret Kristen Stewart upped her style game traveling the world to promote “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” drawing to a close the “Twilight” era.
Let’s liken her daring gowns to a graduation cap: Stewart boldly rocked see-through prints with bustier tops, electric neon minis and even a bejeweled nude bodysuit. Not the jeans and T-shirt girl we’ve known for all these years.
Stewart’s stylist Tara Swennen sat down with The Cut to discuss the actress’ evolving taste, the still-untouched part of her body and how some things will never change.
“We just wanted to make a grand escape, I guess, rather than a grand entrance,” Swennen said of the final press tour.
“She’s come into her own, and so now she’s letting me play a little bit more. I’m going from a glam moment to an androgynous moment from one carpet to the next; we like making sure that we push boundaries on every carpet.”

One moment came in London courtesy of Zuhair Murad in the aforementioned body suit (pictured above).
“She’s a tomboy at heart ... but she understands that fashion is an arena, that she can be a chameleon and not dress the way she does every single day, “ the stylist said, but “she’ll always change into her Converse by halfway through a carpet, which is to be expected at this point.”
Whlie she’s embracing floor-length gowns and girlie silhouettes, Kristen’s ears remain unpierced and most jewelry is a no-go unless it has sentimental attachment. Purses too.
“She doesn’t really carry purses, but she does that because she really enjoys signing autographs for her fans,” she added.
