Kris Jenner explains ‘North,’ but won’t give up her baby pics
Don’t mess with grandma! Kris Jenner has been making the rounds in advance of her new talk show, which debuts next month, and along the way she’s defended Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby name, and laughingly threatened Matt Lauer as he prodded her for baby pictures.
Laughs aside, we sense a nugget of truth, no?
Tuesday on “The View” Jenner explained the baby’s name, North, as it had been explained to her by daughter Kim.

“You know, I love the name North,” she said, responding to Barbara Walters’ questions about her third grandchild. “I’m pro-North, absolutely. The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means highest power and she says that North is their highest point together.
“And I thought that was really sweet.”
We do too, except for the fact that the meaning of “North” is more like “that-a-way” than “up.” Ah, technicalities.
On the “Today” show, she parried Lauer’s tricky line of questioning.
“You’ve taken lots of photos,” he said. “You want to show me your cellphone, I mean, can you show me some pictures of the baby?”
“I’d have to kill you if I showed you my cellphone,” she joked back. “I’m erasing them all right after this.”

She’s also holding back on any information about a possible Kim and Kanye wedding, explaining that it’s their business to reveal, not hers.
Meanwhile, there was that talk show to promote, something she said is more of a “lifestyle show.”
“I feel like I’m giving birth to something July 15,” Jenner said.
Imagine the naming possibilities there! “Kris Jenner Show” just has to be something to throw us off the trail, right?
