Kourtney Kardashian hit with paternity lawsuit by male model
Kourtney Kardashian has been hit with a paternity lawsuit by a male model who claims to be the father of her son Mason and is seeking joint custody of the boy and DNA tests to prove who’s related to whom.
Michael Girgenti says he met the eldest Kardashian sister in 2008 on a photo shoot and that they struck up a texting relationship that turned sexual in 2009 when Kourtney allegedly messaged him that she was “on the outs” with boyfriend Scott Disick and that they should hang out — all that according to documents filed Thursday and obtained by TMZ.
Girgenti says they had unprotected sex, did what you need to do to conceive and — poof! — nine months later Mason was born. He also claims that Kardashian’s daughter with Disick, Penelope, looks nothing like her brother (which is something you can decide for yourself after looking at these side-by-side pics that show the kids looking nearly like twins).
The suit reportedly alleges that Girgenti noticed a striking resemblance between himself and the infant, tried to contact Kardashian but was unsuccessful, then started a media blitz to get her attention.
Kourtney’s lawyers are calling foul on the whole story, with attorney Shawn Chapman Holley reportedly sending a letter to Girgenti painting his claims as “false and defamatory,” and attorney Todd Wilson telling TMZ plainly that Disick is Mason’s father, and alleging Girgenti “has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years.”
Wilson, who said he had not yet seen the filing, continued,, saying “His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client.”
A hearing has been set for next month.
