Kim Kardashian is ready for delivery! The reality star’s baby boy is no longer breech.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, who is expecting her second child with rapper-husband Kanye West next month, updated fans on Tuesday that she underwent a “painful” procedure over the weekend to turn her baby so he would be in the proper head-down position for delivery. (On the same day, she also unveiled a revealing body paint desert photo shoot she did pre-pregnancy.)

“This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position,” Kardashian wrote on her website, where she’s frequently aired her many pregnancy woes.

“They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby. There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop — in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all!”

Kardashian, who is 37 weeks along, said no pain medications are administered for the procedure and called it “soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!”

“My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section,” she wrote.

Last week, the 35-year-old wrote a lengthy post about the risks of delivering a breech baby and explained how she was dealing with her latest pregnancy complication.

For now, she’s dealing with a cold and a sinus infection and is hoping to focus on her well-being in the next few days. Her firstborn, 2-year-old daughter North, will have a sleepover with her cousins so that mom can get some R&R, including a better night’s sleep.

“She loves sleepovers and I really need this time to get better. I haven’t been able to sleep and just need to catch up.”
