Kim Kardashian reveals North’s wee accident on Vogue shoot
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have had a lot of respect for their top-secret Vogue cover shoot, but baby North? Not so much.
Kardashian spilled more behind-the-scenes details of the shoot Tuesday night on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” with the host showing his favorite photo, featuring the whole family, with Kardashian in a Nina Ricci wedding gown and Kanye shirtless, North lying naked on his chest.
“North peed on him right at that moment ... ,” Kardashian said, “and he was trying to tell me and I couldn’t really hear him, and I had to get up and get her, clean her off, clean him off. It’s a good memory.”

We can only hope the brilliant white Nina Ricci didn’t wind up doubling as a diaper.
The shoot was so top secret that the reality star had to evade paparazzi in London for a meeting at one of the design houses involved, and nobody in the family knew except Kris Jenner, whose house was used in some of the shots. Kardashian admitted it was tough, saying she has “like the biggest mouth ever” and can’t keep a secret.
However, “If it leaked that we really shot this, then the cover — I didn’t even think that the cover was an option — but it definitely would have been out of the cards for us.”
Even Vogue writer Hamish Bowles and creative director Grace Coddington had to go undercover when they visited Jenner’s home. The ever-natty Bowles found himself uncharacteristically decked out in one of Kanye’s hoodies, while Coddington wrapped up her flame-red hair and donned oversized dark glasses.
It was, Meyers said, like “The Bourne Identity,” only with Vogue. Kardashian said she felt like the Carrie Bradshaw character doing the full “Sex and the City” shoot, wedding gowns and all. Let’s just ignore how that turned out for Bradshaw ....
The cover, of course, has generated lots of talk, and much of it hasn’t been nice.

There was a rumor that West had “begged” editor Anna Wintour to get his bride-to-be on the mag’s cover — a rumor Wintour specifically denied in an open letter posted after the image’s digital debut.
Then there was the bit of Twitter nastiness between Sarah Michelle Geller and Kardashian bestie Jonathan Cheban.
“Well......I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???” the actress wrote on Friday, garnering almost 10,000 retweets and even more favorites.
“Do u matter?” Cheban added to his retweet of Geller’s note.
Ooh, cat fight. Cheban’s opinion, however, got significantly less Twitter support.
Model Naomi Campbell said she didn’t want to comment when asked about the cover on an Australian morning show, but promptly dissolved into a mess of giggles.

“I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years,” she added. “And when you get a Vogue cover, it’s a build in your career ... a stepping stone to achieve that.” But the giggles were already out.
Kelly Osbourne of “Fashion Police” noted on her blog that “there is no denying that it looks like a really beautiful picture for the cover of prom magazine,” but called critics “disgusting.”
“Sooooooo to all you people bashing Vogue, Kim, Kanye, and Anna stop and really think for a second because I am willing to bet my life that whether you recognize it or not somewhere hidden deep down inside of all of us is the dream of being on the cover of VOGUE!!!”
It being the dream of “every girl” to make the cover of Vogue was declared by Kardashian as well, to Meyers. (Not sure about that one — maybe we should consult the Disney princesses for another opinion?)
Meanwhile, Kardashian continued to be proud of the cultural accolade.
“They were telling us Kanye’s the first rapper to be on and I’m the first reality person to be on and the first interracial couple, so all of these just mean so much to Kanye and I,” she said.
Nothing wrong with that.
