North West fits in at Balenciaga, sits front row with Kim, Kanye

Fashion’s front row just got even more youthful: North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West, joined her parents at the Balenciaga show in Paris on Wednesday.

The 15-month-old daughter of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and the Grammy-winning rapper accompanied her famous parents to the City of Light as they attended the design house’s Spring/Summer 2015 Paris Fashion Week presentation.

The plum seating assignment is often decorated with A-listers and young celebs touting the brands, making for premium photo ops to be gawked at. And that’s exactly what’s happening here, with Nori arriving with her mom and chevron-coiffed dad. She was photographed sitting pretty on her mom’s lap in the unofficial fashion week uniform: all black.

“Balenciaga baby,” Kardashian West wrote, captioning a pic of her color-coordinated family arriving at the show.

The petite fashionista, who has already appeared in Vogue and CR Fashion Book, wore a “Yeezus” tour sweatshirt, black leather skirt, leggings and mini-combat boots. Nori was well-behaved and used to the loud music, according to a Los Angeles Times reporter at the scene. She was also photographed making cute with her front-row neighbor.

It’s surprising, because one would expect the bright lights and loud music to throw nearly any kid into a fit of tears. Well, there didn’t appear to be any of that from the offspring of the theatrical “I Am a God” rapper.

There were clothes too, which nearly paled in comparison to the sartorial celebutante, according to a tweet from Vogue.

“North West threatened to upstage the clothes @BALENCIAGA-but then the stage lit up and the real show began,” read a tweet from the fashion codex, providing a link to a gallery from the show.

North also joined her parents backstage as they hobnobbed with Balenciaga’s designer Alexander Wang, Us Weekly reported. Other reports referred to the trio as Wang’s special guests.

Nori isn’t the only -- or first -- well-heeled youngster to be invited to a big show: David and Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper cheered on her posh mom at her show in New York last February. But there’s a family connection there, so it’s hardly the same thing. Also, Buzzfeed rounded up these dapper lads and lasses who made appearances throughout New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

Several members of the Kardashian clan descended on Paris this week for the presentations, including model Kendall Jenner, Kardashian’s younger half-sister, and momager Kris Jenner, who filed for divorce from Kendall’s dad Bruce Jenner earlier this week.
