Kim Kardashian, Kanye West held up by TSA leaving JFK
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a misunderstanding with Transportation Security Administration officials at JFK International Airport in New York on Tuesday, but apparently the whole thing wasn’t their fault.
Chalk that one up to being rich and famous and likely to get favors.
The reality TV starlet and her rapper boyfriend/baby daddy were on their way back from Rio de Janeiro, where they were attending Rio Carnival. They were trying to catch a connection from New York to Los Angeles when things went sideways: An airline greeter allowed them to skip a security checkpoint so they could quickly catch their flight, according to TMZ.

Once they were on the plane, a TSA agent took them right back off to go through security, ultimately delaying the flight by nearly an hour. Kardashian and West were cleared and allowed to reboard the flight. The agency said it was conducting an investigation.
Was it simply a case of someone being star-struck?
“An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight,” the agency told TMZ. “In doing so, the airline employee violated security protocols.”
American Airlines was taking responsibility for the delay, TMZ said, blaming one of its employees and also noting that part of the delay was caused by late connecting bags.
Wednesday apparently was the first day Kardashian started filming the eighth season of her and her family’s reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” so we may or may not hear about the whole ordeal next season.
Judging from her Twitter account, Kardashian’s feathers weren’t too ruffled by the incident.

“I love being in LA! Good workout, eating healthy...off to a photo shoot with @KourtneyKardash & @KhloeKardashian Have a great day everyone!” she posted.
The pregnant 32-year-old was also spotted Tuesday grabbing frozen yogurt with West practically dressed to the nines, according to Us Weekly.
Kardashian is the March cover girl for Elle magazine, and despite a serious case of “fashion snobbery,” Nicola Formichetti (of Lady Gaga’s fashion fame) said he persevered and still made her look fabulous, even though several design houses objected to lending him clothes to dress her.
