Kim Kardashian, Kanye West take in Paris Fashion Week sans North
Bonjour, Kim Kardashian!
The new mom hit Paris Fashion Week with beau Kanye West to take in the haute runway shows in the French capital, reportedly leaving their baby girl back home in Los Angeles.
“Kim was sad to say goodbye,” a source told Us Weekly. “This is the first time she’s been away from the baby.”
The reality TV starlet, 32, was all pre-baby glam in Par-eeh as she showed off her slimmed-down figure and new blond ‘do in a few Instagram pics. That’s besides the hotly anticipated new images of the reality TV starlet making the rounds (finally!) following her increased public appearances after giving birth to her daughter North in June.

The pair stayed at the George V hotel, the mag said, and were escorted into the Givenchy offices by former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, for meetings. Paris Fashion Week kicked off last Tuesday, and the couple is slated to take in several shows.
One image she posted is a wide shot of her and West walking the streets of Paris. The images bears the simple caption “Bonjour baby.”
In another snapshot, Kardashian shows off her figure in a black Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gown, flanked by her fashion-forward boyfriend. Tisci happens to be a good friend of West’s too. He designed their looks for the Met Gala in May and served as the artistic director on Kardashian’s bizarrely beautiful pregnancy photo shoot with Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld for CR magazine.
“Thank you Ricky for making this for me the day before the show. I die for you. #Givenchy4lifebaby,” Kardashian wrote, captioning a photo of herself in the dress, with West.
The paparazzi-loved couple took in the designer’s show Sunday and Kardashian shared a picture of the two of them sitting front row at the Givenchy presentation next to actresses Noomi Rapace, Lily Collins and singer Ciara. She described their plum seating assignment as “Oh nothing... just chillin’”
That kind of reminds us of another photo she posted last week in which the couple happened to be hanging out with music mogul Sean Diddy Combs and TV queen Oprah Winfrey at Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine’s big pre-Emmy Awards bash. Looks like she’s got no problem hanging with industry heavyweights.
The pair also stepped out in his-and-hers-style wool coats, his being blue and hers tan to match the all-neutral, figure-hugging ensemble beneath it.
While Kardashian skipped New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week earlier this month, her beau didn’t. The rapper’s penchant for all thing sartorial was ever-present in his recent headline-making interview with the BBC.
“I spend 80% of my time working on [fashion] and 20% of my time working on music,” the “Stronger” star said. “Why do you think the song ‘... in Paris’ is called ‘... in Paris’? Because ... [I] was in Paris! That’s why we were in Paris. I’ve put in the 10,000 hours.”
Yes, that’s the same interview that unleashed his “rap feud” with late night host Jimmy Kimmel, a Twitter imbroglio sparked by Kimmel’s parody of the chat using young children. Interestingly, by Sunday, Kanye had deleted the tweets on his side of the spat.
However, despite the barbs and and laughs, West did open up to the BBC’s Zane Lowe about his famous girlfriend.
“Family time -- it’s what Kim gave me,” the rapper said. “She gave me everything. She gave me a family. She gave me a support system.”
The hip-hop star also said that he believed his baby mama had pure motives.
“She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find,” he said.
