Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett welcome a baby girl
Kendra Wilkinson and her husband Hank Baskett have a second baby! The former Playboy model just welcomed a little girl via C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The munchkin’s name is yet to be revealed.
What is obvious is the couple’s joy. “I feel great and I am so happy,” Baskett told Us Weekly. His baby is “healthy with all 10 fingers and all 10 toes,” he gushed, and Mama Wilkinson “is great and did an amazing job,” Baskett added.
Wilkinson, 28, and Baskett, 31 -- who tied the knot in June 2009 -- are already parents to 4-year-old Hank. Hank IV, that is. “He is still my baby,” Wilkinson told People during her pregnancy. “That’s the one thing we keep telling him, ‘No matter what, you’re still our baby.’ We’re going to always treat him that way and empower him.”
But Hank the younger doesn’t seem to need his mom’s promise: He’s adopted sibling love on his own. “Every day is about his sister. Anything he learns -- like not talking to strangers or crossing the street -- he’s like, ‘I want to teach my baby sister, I want to make sure we protect her,’” the two-time mom said. Now that’s cute.
The “Kendra on Top” and “The Girls Next Door” star hasn’t been one to shy away from sharing all of her life’s moments with the public. TMZ reports that a camera crew followed Wilkinson into the hospital. Once a nurse found out, though, the crew was kicked out after being told that shooting in the facility’s public areas was a no-no.
And on top of that, TMZ also reports that Wilkinson and Baskett requested a deluxe suite for the birthing process, but were turned away after a wealthy woman snagged the suite instead.
If there was one thing in Wilkinson’s control, it was her weight. “I have full control now,” she told Us Weekly during her pregnancy. “First time around I’m like, ‘I’m a skinny person, I’m going to get back right away.’ Oh no. I learned a lot from my first one. I’m working out every day; doing anything I can to control this, this time around.”
Now all of Wilkinson’s attention will inevitably go toward her little princess. Congrats to the family!
